Discord is a free social media application specially designed for communities. It is widely adored by Web3 enthusiasts for its rich and diverse community functions.

“MTR Metaverse” is the metaverse MTR has been developing on The Sandbox’s virtual land. The first launch connects the future to the past, presenting the brand-new MTR Metaverse Station and 1980s Choi Hung Station. Equipped with various challenging game quests, players will be taken on a time-travelling journey with great fun!

MTR announced its strategic partnership with The Sandbox in April 2022 and became the first global transport operator to join The Sandbox metaverse. By seizing the opportunity of the megatrend of Web3 and the metaverse, MTR hopes to utilize the advanced technological and innovative initiatives for customized experiences and a high level of services to keep cities moving.
“NFT” stands for Non-Fungible Token. Any electronic file (photographs, pictures, music, etc.) can be minted into NFTs. In the process, they will be given a unique code, which allows the NFT to be permanently recorded in the blockchain as a unique entity that cannot be tampered with.
Under the blockchain technology, all NFTs have clear ownership and public display of information including the related blockchain particulars and transaction details, etc. In Web3 era, NFTs have become one of the popular mediums for launching creative ideas.
